Abstract
AI is rapidly becoming part of the infrastructure of healthcare delivery rather than an occasional tool used by a few early adapters. Familiar ethical questions concerning accuracy, bias, transparency, privacy, and consent remain essential. But they don’t exhaust the ethical significance of AI being woven deeply into healthcare practice, often in ways that clinicians and patients are not fully aware of. The papers in this section analyze important and emerging ethical issues related to the growing integration of AI into healthcare.
